                              News and Comments

     We will begin beta testing DB/C FS 4.0 in May.  If you are interested
in participating in the beta test program, contact me.

     Three interesting and related tidbits of news happened this month.
I'll leave it to you to figure out the impact of these news items:

1. Adobe announced that it has now made Acrobat Reader available for LINUX.

2. Microsoft announced that a new, publicly documented (but not open license)
   document file format named 'Metro' will become available in Longhorn, and
   that all Longhorn documentation will be in Metro format.  Metro is just
   Microsoft's rip off of PDF.

3. Microsoft announced support for LINUX under Virtual Server 2005.

    There is no article this month.
