************************************* * * * DB/C Newsletter * * June 2007 * * * ************************************* News and Comments DB/C DX 15.0 was released this month. The features that are new in this release were detailed last month, with the addition of support for a few more accelerator keys in menu resources in GUI programs. Thank you to all who helped in testing DB/C DX 15.0. It is a better product because of your contributions of time. There are quite a number of requests for new features that did not make it into DB/C DX 15.0. If you have any features that you are interested in seeing added to DB/C DX, let us know. We're just now starting to make our list of features that will be added to DB/C DX in the 15.1 release. Eclipse 3.3 was also released this month. This new release has several important improvements. The DDT feature of DB/C DX 15.0 takes advantage of some of these new features, so Eclipse 3.3 is required for using DDT. With regard to DKIM authenticated email that I've discussed in prior newsletters - I've contacted the vendor of the email server that we use at DB/C Software. They said that the next release of their software, due out in a few months, will include support for DKIM. I plan to implement it as soon as it becomes available. There is no newsletter article this month. We've been too busy getting DB/C DX 15.0 out the door! Have a nice summer (or winter for those of you down under). don.wills@dbcsoftware.com ****************************************************************************** DB/C DX Class Schedule Class: DB/C DX Fundamentals Date: September, 2007 Location: Woodridge, Illinois For information, send email to admin@dbcsoftware.com. ****************************************************************************** Subscribing to the DB/C Newsletter If you don't already have the DB/C Newsletter delivered to your email address and would like to have it emailed to you monthly, just send an email message to dbcnews-subscribe@dbcsoftware.com.
